The M4 Elite 22 seems well made, and for a dedicated 22lr, very closely matches the ergonomics of a .556 AR, but a little lighter at ~5.5 lbs. So far, I’ve put only 300 rounds through it, but no malfunctions. I did need to adjust the sights, and sighted in at 25 yards. I can’t testify to accuracy as all other shooting so far is off-hand at steel and <30 yards. That said, I’ve had no problem hitting those targets so far. Cleaning was a bit of a chore because the ejector blocks cleaning rod access from the rear. This requires removing the ejector or cleaning from the from the muzzle or using a bore snake. The telescopic stock needed some minor adjustment in order to manipulate smoothly. As a personal preference, I don’t care for the sling swivel bracket, it digs into my hand when manipulating the safety. Easy fix to remove it, though. All said, I’m not regretting my purchase, and can recommend the M4 Elite 22 as a well made 22 trainer/plinker.
